Simple ways to support your pet's dental health at home include: ​

• Tooth brushing: Brushing your pet's teeth with a pet-safe enzymatic toothpaste is the gold standard. Aim for at least 2-3 times a week if you're unable to brush daily

• Dental chews & treats: Look for products approved by the Veterinary Oral Health Council (VOHC) to help reduce plaque and tartar

• Routine checks: Gently lift your pet's lips to check for redness, swelling, tartar or broken teeth ​
